On Fri. evening, Feb. 21, Frank Grover of Evanston spoke to the Old Town Folks about the history of the North Shore. Mr. A. C. Wenban also spoke. Then officers for the coming year were elected. They are: President-Mr. Edward L. Scheidenheim
Vice-President- Mr. J. S. Doig
Secretary-Mrs. Sam S. Dingree
Treasurer-Mrs. Arthur P. Rogers
The Ouilmette Country Club announced its March programming.
Winners of the Wilmette word contest were: Elizabeth Michelet, 1028 Sheridan Rd., first prize.
Marjorie W. Petrie, 710 Washington Ave., second prize.
Myron Appleyard, 1122 Lake Ave.,third prize.
Harold L. Gore, 108 Woodbine Ave., fourth prize.
The Winners of the Winnetka word contest were:
Harry Cadenhead, 902 Oak St.,-first prize.

Ellen Johnson, 1020 W. Spruce St., third prize.
Leslie B. France, 254 Sheridan Rd., fourth prize.
