Virginia Healy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Francis Healy, 205 Melrose Avenue, Kenilworth, is engaged to Richard Page Sunderland, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Sunderland of 1285 Asbury Avenue, Hubbard Woods. The wedding is scheduled for January 19, 1938. Family and friends are entertaining for the couple before the wedding. Miss Jean Hawxhurst of Evanston gave a tea for the bride in December. A second tea was given December 28 by Mrs. John L. Porter Jr., of Evanston at the home of her mother Mrs. T. Weller Kimball, 333 Leicester Road, Kenilworth. The groom's parents and his sister, Betty, were hosts of a party on Sunday, and next Sunday the bride's brother, William Healy Jr., will have an eggnog party at his home. The bride's aunt, Mrs. J. Raymond Murphy will have a reception at her home in Chicago on January 12. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hill will give a party in their apartment in Evanston, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter G. Smith of Winnetka will also have a party.
