Ott, Dorothy Wilhelmina (Died)

Memorial services for Miss Dorothy Wilhelmina Ott, 23 year old daughter of John Nash Ott, 17 Indian Hill road, Winnetka, who passed away in Istanbul, Turkey, on Thursday of last week, were held Sunday at Christ Episcopal church, Winnetka. Miss Ott, who was on a world tour, was stricken in the Turkish metropolis with spinal paralysis. She was traveling alone, and had been away since August. A graduate of Smith college, she had studied also at the University of Freiburg, Germany. She is survived by her father and by a stepmother; by a sister, Mrs. Mary Ott Kemp of Baltimore and by a brother, John Nash Ott, Jr., 46 Woodley road, Winnetka. The body will be sent from Istanbul to Winnetka, and at that time there will be a service at the grave, it was announced.
