A memorial service in memory of Frederick Rummler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene A. Rummler, of Winnetka, who was drowned in Lake Michigan a month ago, will be held Sunday afternoon, September 30, at 5 o'clock in the Winnetka Congregational church, Lincoln and Pine streets, Winnetka. A similar service, conducted by Dr. J. W. F. Davies, minister of education of the church, will be held by the Sunday school of which Frederick was a member, this Sunday morning. The youth was drowned on the morning of Tuesday, August 28, after clinging desperately during the night to an overturned catboat in which he and three companions had sailed out of Wilmette harbor the night before. He was a graduate of New Trier High school and had many friends on the north shore.
