George E. Boyd of Wilmette, a radio manufacturer, died early Saturday morning when he dropped from the elevated railroad platform on Wabash avenue near Jackson boulevard, Chicago. No one could be found who had seen his plunge to the street. Andrew J. Hanreddy, platform man for the elevated lines, declared that he had previously noticed him sitting asleep on one of the benches and that he had awakened him. Boyd, according to the Wilmette police, lived at 1220 Lake avenue, and was associated with the Parts Manufacturing company at 869 West North avenue, Chicago.
