Cook County. To Isaac N. Pearson, Secretary of State. We the undersigned, C. C. Taylor, Charles Carhart and Warren W. Tolman citizens of the United States, propose to form a Corporation under an act of the General Assembly of the State of Illinois, entitled, "An Act Concerning Corporations," approved April 18, 1872, and all acts amendatory thereof; and for the purpose of such organization we hereby date as follows, to-wit: 1. The name of such corporation is The Elmwood Library Association. w. The object for which it is formed is to establish and maintain a circulating library for the use of its members and such other persons as it may provide by its by-laws. 3. The management of the aforesaid Library Association shall be vested in a Board of seven Directors, who are to be elected annually. 4. The following persons are hereby selected as the directtors to control and manage said corporation for the first year of its corporate existance, viz.: Edwin Drury, John E. Davis, Mrs. J. C. Savage, W. E. Dibble, John W. Panushka, C. C. Taylor, and Charles Carhart. The location is the Village of Wilmette in the County of Cook, State of Illinois. Signed C. C. Taylor, Chas.
