- Aerial photograph of the No Man's Land area north of Wilmette, Illinois, taken September 18, 1928.
- Inscriptions
- [Annotation on the back of the photograph] The Cottage Resturaunt [sic] is at the bottom left. Just to the north is the foundations for the Breakers which was to be a 20 story hotel. Further up is the Vista del Lago Club which was a beach club and included other facilities. It was a private club that went bankrupt in the 30s. You can see the Spanish Court Apartments at the left-center of the photo as well as the front of the Teatro del Lago Theatre. Note New Trier High School's stack in the background.
