Village Movie Published Weekly by the VILLAGE THEATRE COMPANY, Wilmette, Ill. M. L. SPARR, Editor For Advertising Space apply to THE PRINTING STUDIO, Wilmette, Ill. Volume 1: Number 22 Wilmette, Illinois, December 26, 1914 Within the mists of time The old year fades from view, And o'er the world in glory streams The sunshine of the new. Rejoice! Redeem the times While seasons rise and fall, And work and pray and trust away, For God is over all! "Zudora" to be Transformed There are to be some sensational developments in the next episodes of "Zudora". The public is not in hearty sympathy with the character portrayed by James Cruze, for as Jimmie Norton in the "Million Dollar Mystery" he won the hearts of the people, and as the leading masculine role in "Zudora" the part of plotter does not set well with his admirers. Accordingly, there will be a complete transformation and "Jimmie" will come into his own again. We are not at liberty to give you details at this time, but we can promise you that the changes will be sensational. Cruze will eclipse his best work as James Norton. The new sensation will come with such startling rapidity and such a multitude of thrills that you cannot afford to miss a single episode. Look for the change in episode six. New characters will begin to appear in the sixth episode, including a new woman of mystery. Helen Badgley, the Thanhouser kidlet, breaks into "Zudora", and plays a magnetic part. Later the famous Thanhouser dog will appear. All because the public will have James Cruze in a part in keeping with his previous great success. An All-Around Surprise! A real surprise—or a reel surprise! We have something "up our sleeve" that is going to be a delightful surprise and treat to all. It has to do with other big-feature pictures besides the Paramounts, famous stars who have come into the motion picture field who are not appearing in the Paramounts. Of course we are going to continue the Paramounts, we couldn't get along without them and we wouldn't want our patrons to; but in addition to the Paramounts, certain changes in our programs will bring added masterpieces and film attractions which will provide the finest and highest class of motion picture entertainment. We can't tell you the details, but watch THE VILLAGE MOVIE for further announcements—and be ready to take advantage of the unusual opportunities which will be afforded you.
