- North Shore region moves back to Tier 1 of mitigation plan. The easing of some restrictions starting Jan. 23 was prompted by improved virus metrics, and includes permitting public meetings and gatherings of up to 25 guests, or 25% of room capacity, and will also allow for modified reopenings of cultural institutions like museums and libraries.
