In recording the events of the past week, probably one of the most important of -the social functions was the wedding of "Goldie Gossip," and Alexander Hiram Diddie. The large audience at the play proclaimed it a clever and highly entertainiing sketch. The bridai! party was lovely, and as the bride and ber attendants marched down the aisie, there was the cus- tomary stir among the guests eager to discover "wbo was who" in the splendid makeup of men models in women's costumes.
