Ready to Set op, Work Relief Plan The Kenilworth Village. board, at. its Novembèrmeeting Mo nday night, decided to go ahead: with plans for setting up a new work relief program to take the place of a similar. project, which expired on October 31. The project finished by time limit at the end of October-included the development of Mahoney park on both sides of Sheridan road at the south limits of the village, the im- provement of the Village hall and fire station sites at Green Bay road and Kenilworth- avenue, street, side- walk and, water repairs and tree surgery and tree planting. This work was started as a CWA project and when the CWA passed out of existence last Marcb the work was continued by the village under the Federal Emergency Relief admin- istration. AIl men employed were on federal relief and their salaries were paid by the federal government., Whatever projects of this kind are undertaken. in the future are to be continued on1 this basis.
