Girls Club Makes Plans for Magazine Campaign A special Girls' club assembly wvas held Tuesday afternoon, when plans for the club's annual magazine sub- scription campaign were discussed. Ail proceeds from the sale of the magazines go into a scholarship fund Which is used to help New Trier girls who would be unable to continue their education after they leave high sdhool without assistance from some source such as this. This year the club is sending two girls to college, one to an art school and the 'other to a liberal arts col lege. The tuition is paid by the club, and the two girls are working to help earn their wvay through school. The Girls' club con- ducts no house-to-house canvass, but the individual girls try to get sub- scriptions from their own honmes and .from friends. -New Trier-Evanston to Play. Saturday Morning New Trier students have been re- minded - that the football game witli Evanston on Saturday is to start -"t 10 o'clock in the morning. The var- sity game. will be played first and wilL be followed by a scrap between the New Trier and Evanston fresh- man-sophomore -teams. The games are being played in the morning this week instead of'in the afternoon be- cause of the Northwestern-Illinoi. game at Dyche stadium, Evanston. Expeet Graduating Class to Reach S00 This Year This 1935 graduating class at New Trier is expected to reach the 500 mark for the first time in the school's1 history. There are at present 5331 students in the senior class. The voting started on ednesday, and it is expected that by the end of the week ail of the four offices will be filled. The student elected to any of the offices must have a ma- jority of the votes in the class. Suc- cessive elections are held until this majority is reached.
