Moore, a retired J'eweler, died at his home, 633 Laurel' avenue, on Tuesday, October .16, at the age'of 66 years. 'Mr. Moore was 'born in Canada on March 31, 1868. He bad been in the jewelry business for fi fty years. For the. past six years Mr. Moore had made his home in Wilmette. He is survived by three brothers, Ed- ward A. Moore of Los Angeles, and Wilbur D. and Louis A. Moore -of Wilmette, and by one sister, Miss Jane A. Moore of Wilmette. His mother, Mrs. Mary Allen Moore, died last Februray. The funeral services for Mr. Moore were beld at his late residence last Tbursday afternoon, with burial at Rosehill cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. B. . Hens, 1415 Maple avenue, entertained forty-five friends and relatives last Saturday in .celebration of their wedding anni- versay. Walter Andersen, 127 Robsart road, Kenilworth, who sang. last year 1in the wards at the Children's Mem- orial hospital, has promised to sing again to 'the little invalids every Tuesday. Her first enitertainment for them was last Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 o'clock until 4:-30. Mrs. Andersen bas seen a great deal of. music appreciation among the cbildren. One little girl was quietly crying after one of the programs, and when Mrs. Andersen asked what the trouble was she answered "I'm going home tomorrow, and won't hear you sing anymore." After giving a cowboy song one little convalescent boy wbo had been using pencil and paper during the song, came out in the hall as Mrs. Andersen was leaving and presented bier ivith a drawing that he bad done of a cowboy wVith spurs on bis boots, the spurs being almost as -large as the boots tbemselves. CHANGE IN SCHEDULE A change in tbe adult recreational program announced last week bas been made by Daniel M. Davis, di- rector of recreation. The corrected program will bave tbe North Shore Men's basketball league meeting on Thursday evenings at the Howard gymnasium and eliminate the wom-' en's gymnasium class that usually mheets on that evening., The change was due to a conflict with a dancing class conducted by the Howard-Lo- gan Parent-Teacher a s s o c i a t io n, wbich meets on Friday evening, the saine time first announced for the North Shore league.
