The beautiful log cabin so generously loaried us by Mr. David Nelson, proved to be very weil adapted to the uses to which it was put. The girls slept on the porches except when.it rain- ed, swam in Green Bay ini front of the cabiri, and roamed the woods of the island. There was an ,active pro- gram comparable to that of any es- tablished camp. There were nature hikes, exploration hikes, star' gazing,, handicraft of varlous ktuLts, first ald, swimming, rhythms, smnging, drama- tizations of many kincis and gamnes. There was a campfire every -night, outdoors when possible and indoors when it was cold or damp. The girls planned and carrîed out ai Scout's Own for each of the two Sun- days that they were there.
