Raymond R. Bartling, 75, of 2137 Glenview Rd., Glenview, died Wednesday at his home. Mr. Bartling, who was an insurance rater before his retirement, was the leader of a citizen's group that spearheaded the Senior Citizen's Housing Project in Glenview. Surviving are his wife, Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Slown and Mrs. Natalie Haupt; two sisters, Miss Adele Bartling and Miss Irene Bartling; a brother, Charles; and two grandchildren. The Rev. Kenneth E. Nye conducted the funeral services Friday at Glenview Community Church. Burial was at Northfield Oakwood Cemetery near Northbrook.
