Levy, Lewis (Died)

Lewis Levy, 66, of 348 West Elmwood, Glencoe, died Nov. 20 at Lutheran General Hospital. Mr. Levy, chairman of the board of North Shore Distributors, Inc., of Wheeling, was retired vice president of Charles Levy Circulating Co. A graduate of Northwestern University, he worked in the field of newspaper and magazine distribution for 50 years. Mr. Levy was a member of the board of directors of Wheeling Trust and Savings Bank, Temple Jeremiah of Winnetka, and was a former member of the board of the American Jewish Committee. He was also a member of the Standard Club and the Chicago chapter of Bradley University. Surviving are his widow, Teresa, a daughter, Mrs. Carol Maxon; a son, James; and a sister, Mrs. Bernice [damaged]. Services were held Nov. 23 at [damaged] North Suburban Memorial Chapel, Skokie. Interment was in Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery, Palatine.
