All of the Suburban league schools will be l'ntered. The New Trier swimmers, under the direction of Coach Edgar B. Jackson, have made a very favorable showing this season. The junior swimming team won the .league championship, besides defeating several non-league schools. The senior team finished in third place, dose . behind Evans ton and Oak Park. Only the hest swimmers in the Suburban league will be entered in the interscholastic meet this Saturday at New Trier. Preliminaries were held at Pro\riso on Tuesday and at New Trier on \V cdnesday to pick the four swimmers making the best time in the individual events. as well as the four best divers and the fol;l'r best relay and medley relay teams. Prizes to be awarded the winners of the interscholastic swimming meet will consist of medals and ribbons. Mrs. Frank M. The men gave their names as Jose_ ph Williams, 19. of Florence, Ala., Charles Gray. 44. of Hill sboro. Ohio, and John Ashhv. 21. of Calumet City. A holster was found in the front seat of the Hudson coach in which the three men were riding, and investigation revealed that the car had beeh stolen at Fort Wayne, Ind. Williams admitted that he had stolen the car in rumpany with Gray, and that they had l2.ter picked up Ashby at Calumet City. Thev were turned over to the United States marshall of this district on charges of violating the Dyer act (transporting a stolen automobile from e:1~e state to another).
