New Trier Mermen Trounce Proviso Aces in Dual Tilt New Trier High school's junior and senior sw,imming .teams completed their Suburban league schedule last Saturday with a double victory over Proviso High school, the juniors winning 36 to 17 and the seniors 37 to 22. It was the ninth consecutive victory for the New Trier junior swimmers, who are ·champions of the Suburban league. They have defeated every league team in the junior division as well as several non-league teams. The New Trier senior swimming team finished in third place in the Suburban league standing. Evanston ~ · was first and Oak Park second. In their meets with Evanston and Oak Park the New Trier senior swimmers lost each t1me by the narrow margin of 31 to 28.
