Enrollmen-t . -props S "ghtly , r: !f in SecrJnd TB.rm New Trier High -school's enrollfuent for the second .;emester has dropped 'slightly below that of the first semester, the comparative figures being 1.769 and 1,801. This decrease of thirtytwo probably will be cut down to a smaller figure, as a number of students enroll late each semester. M_id-year graquation at New Trier was responsible· for the loss of a number of seniors, and several members of the junior class have been given senior ranking- this semester. The total enrollment decrease for the junior class was 25. The freshman class was the only one to show an increase over the first semester enrollment figure. Eighth grade mid-year graduation in the grammar schools of the township swelled the freshman total. Registration statistics showed that the New Trier boys outnumber the girls again this semester, 904 to 865. The comparative figures for the first semester were: boys, 922, and girls, 879. ·----------3- IS Book-Holder I _, ·.
