D. Reagan, president of the North Suburban Sales, Inc., 1840 Ridge avenue, Evanston. The Imperial "77," "70" and "60" are shown in a wide rhoice oi colors and body styles ranging in price from $995 to $3,995. A 68 horsepower engine with piston displacement of 218.6 cubic inches is offered on the six models cumposing this line. Multi-range four-speed transmission is a feature of the Imperial, "77" and "70" lines. Noiseless shifting is said to be possible at any car speed between the two higher gears. The third, or "acceleration," range is s;1id to give swift acceleratio!1 up to sixty miles an hour, while the "driving" range is a direct drive, giving high car speed with comparatively slow engine speed. Down-draft carburetor is found on the three higher-priced lines. The "silver-dome" engine, providing a compression ratio oi 5 to 1, is standard equipment on all Chrysler · cars. Other features are counter-weighted, statically and dynamically balanced crank?haft, mounted on seven main bearings; positive lubrication through drilled passages maintained at all engine speeds by a full-pressure system, and a new enabling the cylinders to be kept free from carbon by means of a plunger under the dash. Every model in the four lines is equipped with rubber engine mountings at four points, "paraflex" spring suspension with springs mounted parallet to the wheels, pivotal steering, four hydraulic shock absorbers and oversized · balloon tires. Four-wheel internal expanding hydraulic brakes, cornplet~ly enclosed, are also"' standard 'equipment on all m~dels. . Th~ new models, 111 f.resh ~olor c<;>mbmatwns, have sweepmg hnes, htgh, wide radiators and "air-wing" fenders,. All exterior hardware is chromium· plated. Fenders .and other parts are rustpr_ o of by spectal process. 11 All closed models in the 77" and 11 70" lines are wired for Transitone 1 radio receiving sets.
