Co~~t~lder State Daughters, 1812, Real Estate Board Hold Annual Luncheon Elects Officers at The Illinois society of the United States Daughters of 1812 held its annual luncheon Tuesday, December 3 at the Auditorium hotel, in recognition' of Illinois statehood. . The g:uests were received by the gracwus chairman of the social committee, Mrs. John G. Barnett of Wilmette, and her assistants, also the president, Mrs. Arthur J. O'Neill. An appetizing luncheon was served at tables attractively decorated \1\'ith flowers. Members were present from Bloomington and other cities in the southern part of the state. The program consisted of groups of songs by Mme. Joan Young; "December :flistory of Early Illinois," Mrs. Edward G. Snodgrass, state chairman of patriotic education, and "Illinois of Today," by Maj. Norman A. Imrie of Indiana. Mrs. Leslie McArthur, formerly of Kenilworth and now of Bridgeport, Conn., is spending this week in Kenilworth visiting Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Burch of 163 Abingdon avenue.
