August 9, 1929 WILMETTE LIFE 17 Prize Churches to Be Exh-i~ited Soon in Chicago Gallery An exhibit of the pnize winning church designs selected in the First Annual Church Building Competition of the Christian Herald will be held at Marshall Field and company in Chicago August 12-17. Christian Herald is a national inter-denominational magazine published in New York. It is owned by J .. C. Penney, and Dr. Daniel A. Poling, president of the International Christian Endeavor society and nationally known radio minister is editor-inchief. Stanley High, author and lecturer is the editor. The exhibit, which consists of l wenty attractively mounted and iramed designs showing exterior unci interior photographs and floor pl.;ns of the same number of church~s is pre~ented in Chicago by 11arshall Field's through the courtesy of Christian Herald Bureau of Church Planning. Formed into a traveling exhibit th e designs are being sent on a nationwide tour for the benefit of at< hitccts, ministers and church members .
