Ivan Johnson, 46, of 4831 N. Se,e ley avenue, Chicago, Sunday morning, July 21, at about 9 o'clock. In attempting to avoid striking the boy, Johnson swerved his car quickly, causing it to run into the ditch and turn over. Lukes was knocked down bv the car and suffered. a severe head i-njury. Examination of the wound by physicians at the Evanston hospital re vealed that the skull had not been fractured ,and the boy was able t o return home earlv this week.
