Youth, action, comedy, and romance thrown against a theater background are outstanding features of this picture, which tells the story of how a sophisticated chorine helps a shy but clever boy sell his act to Broadway. The film is all talking and is full of music and good dialogue. "Buddy" Rogers and Nancy Carroll, who were so good in the leading roles of "Abia's Irish Rose," score an even bigger hit in "Close Harmony." The comedians, Skeets Gallagher and Jack Oakie, also contribute much to the picture. Fine~t of Films "In Old Arizona," th e only picture which Mae Tinee of the Chicago Tribune has considered worthy of four stars, will open a three-day en gagement at the Varsity next ·Monday. This picture has been characterized as "a hot, fast cosmopolitan melodrama dominated by the sure, virile, magnetic George Bancroft, who, as 'the Wolf,' adds another powerful and convincing characterization to the goodly collection he has already contributed to the screen." Other noted actors in the cast besides Bancroft are Olga Raclanova, Paul Lukas , and Kaney Carroll. On this island four men of the Vilhjalmur Stefansson polar expedition of 1913 lost their lives, separating from the main party when their ship was crushed and sunk by icebergs. The Warner Brothers' mystery crook picture, "The Terror," comes . to the Community House Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18. A gruesome and dilapidated English manor house, which is · supposed to house the loot of a bank robbery, as well as the looter, is the setting for most of the film.
