In · entering it this year the memb.ers , a~e departing from their usual practtce of selecting only one play on which to work, and have chosen three, from which the contest play will be picked. These plays, all of which are one-act, :tre under the direction of Miss Elizabeth Stanwood and Gordon Van Kirk, f~culty sponsors. All parts are being taken by Players, those members of the Dramatic club who have had a bit more. experience in dramatics than the other member3. · Plays attempted by this ~roup show perhaps more distinctly the aims of the club than the plays presented at other times during the year. Before the final choice is made as to . which play shall represent New Trier, all three will be· given ·on the evening of Saturday, April 27, in the· high school auditorium. Students in the ca·st of "Gringoire" include Louis Weber, Margaret Washburn, John Betak, Louise Hubsch, Bob Pearse, Martin Cassell. Those in the cast of "The Pot Boiler" are Helen Nygaard, Janet Marshall, Dorland Davis, Gordon Cutler, Jack Howe, Farrington Shaefer, George Hunsche.
