L. Streed for his services on the Boarc1 of Trustees of the North Shore M :1squito Abatement district during the last year. The resolution follows: "Whereas, Village Manager Streed has been serving as a .member of the Board of Trustees of the North Shore Mosquito Abatement district for the past year as a result of a resolution pas~ed by the Kenilworth Vlllage board on December U, 1927, requesting him to do so, and "Whereas, he has given freely of hi~ personal time in connection with this work on behalf of the citizens of Kenilworth and witho11t compensation, . and "Whereas, the V ilhge board feels that Kenilworth should have a representative on the Board of Trustees of the North Shore Mosquito Abatement dJstrlct. therefore, "Be it resolved, that a vot~ of thanks be extended to Village .Manager Streed for his past services in this connection and that he be asked to continue to serve in the same capacity until such time as the Village board may request him to resign therefrom. ·· Mrs. Henry Peirce Pope of Glencoe entertained the Travel dass at her city home last Saturday.
