Mrs. Laura Hughes Lunde spoke on "The New Patriotism" and she wa s such a charming and well inform ed speaker, her talk was a real inspiration. The League of Women Voters offers instruction in citizenship. This past month the league has held schools for citizenship at Springfield and other schools are planned for the weeks to come. If anyone is interested, she may get information by calling the League of Women Voters in Chicago. Thes e schools have become so popular that a limit has been placed on the number attending from the various local leagues. They are designed to show the mem bers the various step s in law making. Lamb, 115 Woodbine avenue, \Vilmette, received '"ord last Thursday of the death of her youngest brother, Robert M. Nelson. who was killed in a wreck on the Canadiah National railway, which occurred in the wilderne'3S of Ontario. and in which twenty persons lost their lives. The accident occured on Mr. Nelson's twenty-fourth birthday, and the news was received by. Mrs. Lamb on her wedding anniversary. Mr. Nelson had been secretary to his father, Congres'3man John M.
