Rentals Enhance Income Classes for Foreigners of the Club Materially Feature at Woman's Club A very large proportion of the financial resources of the Woman's club is derived from rentals, which amounted to over eighteen hundred dollars last year. It is a conservative statement to say that this sum will be increased one-third when available separate rooms of convenient size, properly ventilated and equipped for teas, dinners, card parties and dancing and an auditorium and stage with sufficient facilities for dramatic productions are provided by the new home. DANCES WELL ATTENDED Dane<. s are given during the club year which are largely attended. When th e new clubhouse is completed it is planned to have dinner-dance s occasionally. Thi'3 is now impossible beca us e th ere is only one large room which produces con siderable confusion. One of the most worthy projects undertaken in recent years by the Civics department of the Woman's club which has been gratifying in results, is that of holding evening classes for adult foreigners. There is an enrollment of 70 divided into six classes. JUNIOR AUXILIARY The Junior Auxiliary i·.s the newest department of the Club. It is, however, quite active. In addition to their meetings twic\! a month the Juniors are rloing- considerable philanthropy work. They are interested in the Service Coun cil for Girls, of Evanston, as well as som e of th e charities of the Philanthropy Department of the se.liOr Club.
