12 WILMETTE LIFE March 15. 1929 "CHANGING TIMES" Time is constant! Co~ditions change. Nothing changes so much as our mode of Jiving. One of these changing trends so noticeable is the character of homes in which we purpose to live. For, after all, the comforts and beauties of home-life; our "day by day" surroundings are factors of great importance in what we get out of life. They are the great things that make life more worth living. The day of the finer homes on small lots is rapidly passing. The better homes a,re being built on the larger plots of ground. To be near the raiJ .. road station or on "main street" . is not now so desirable. Conditions change. The trend is toward the edges -near the open. To have this and yet be within the community itself with all its advantages is quite the most desirable in Jo,cation. It was with this idea in mind that Westmoor Trail was acquired and laid out·-in half acre or larger plots. SMART MONEY Money with vision-is looking to locations of this character, for smart money visions the trend. Smart money knows that some day, in this generation or next, but some time, every home passes to someone else. And while homes should not be bought or built with the idea of money profitthey at least should be acquired without. the possibility of too great a sbrmkage. Westmoor Trail-so protected, first by what will always be the "edge" (Community Park on the West will always remain open), and secondly, larger plots of ground, restricted both as to size and spaces "inbetween" as well as the chara.~ter of homes to be built, forever assures the owner of permanent sound value'.i.
