This health shoW' is being given by "Merrio" from Laughterland, who is Mi·ss Evangeline Fisher. Merrio's trip to Chicago and Cook county is financed bv funds raised annuallv ·in the penny Christmas seal sale campaign, in which the ·school pupils participated in December, 1928. Bringing with her a portable theater and a number of grotesque puppets, Merrio presents a show which ha·s already been given before more than 350,000 school children of the state of Wisconsin. The play teaches the value of such thing's as good food, rest, cleanliness, and fresh air. The antics of the puppets show the fight which is going on constantly between ·t he people living in the Land of Knowledge and those living in the Kingdom of Ignorance. This show is the property of the Wiscons :n Anti-Tuberculosis association and i·s being presented here by the Chicago Tuberculosis institute, the Christmas seal organization for Cook county. · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · Our Great Annual Auxil:ctry of St. Francis Elects for Another Year Organization of the St. Francis Hospital auxiliary for its ensuing year's work took place at the annual meeting last week with the election of Mrs. Albert J. Smith as president, the position she has held ever since the reorganization of the auxiliary four years ago. · Other officers named were : first vice president. Mrs. F.
