Swedish Glee Club to Sing Thursday at A1asonic Temple The Chicago Swedish Glee club, an organization which is now in its fortysecond year, will entertain Wilmette and K~nilworth Masons in the Vvilmette Masonic temple auditorium Thursday evening, February 21. Press comments by leading Chicago critics indicate that those who attend the concert have a great treat in store. Here is one of them : "The age of the organization might well account for the fine tone shading, · the ease and fluent style of the singers, and a certain enthusiasm that prevails in their manner of singing. It is by no means decrepit, but rather yo uthful in its. sharp attacks and spirited performance." Another critic says: " It is an able and excellent male chorus." H. William Nordin is the director. The program to be given by the singers next Thursday will consist of three groups of songs by the entire club, with patriotic readings during the intermissions. \Vilmette lodge, No. 931, A. F. and A. l\f. is sponsoring the affair. Admission will be by card. DOLLAR DAY SPECIALS Mon. and Tae., Feb. 18 & 19th SI.OO 4 LBS. CHOICE SPARE RIBS, SI 00 SUGAR.
