R. Ringson, of 585 Drexel avenue, Glencoe, had been injured in an automobile accident in southern Illinois near Flora. Both were taken to the Flora hospital, where Mrs. Ringson was treated for· a fractured leg. Mr. Ringson received minor injuries. According to the report, the car struck a bridge when Mr. Ringson attempted to release the acceJer ator which had stuck . Music studerilts in the north shore . schools will have an opportunity Sunday, February 17, to hear some of the world's masterpieces interpreted by the dean of concert pianists. This will be the first of three programs to be given by Moriz Rosenthal, who is not only a master of the keyboard, but an author and authority on musical subjects. Next Sunday's program will include the C Minor Sonata by Beethoven; Schumann's Etudes Symphoniques; a Chopin group and compositions by Albeniz, Scriabin, Liadow and Liszt. Scheduled for Rosenthal's later appearances, March 17 and March 31, are Bach, Haendel, Scarlatti and Debussy. All the recitals will be given in the Goodman theater in Grant park, just across the Monroe street viaduct. Many of the young pianirsts studying under Helen West on in the Wilmette, Kenilworth and Winnetka schools; members of the New Trier high school junior and senior music clubs, harmony' and music appreciation classes, are planning to take advantage of thi·s opportunity to hear the classics played by one of the masters. Another attraction that will interest the young musicians as well as older musiC lovers i's the Chicago debut at the Auditorium theater, March 3, of the 12-year-old boy marvel, Yehudi Menuhin, whose violin wizardry ha s captured the public.
