Here we note Francis X. Busch, attorney for the committee, speaking at the Chamber of Commerce meeting in the Central cafeteria. Other speakers were President Henry F. Smith Buys Model House in Winneka The Lehigh Pordand Cement company model house at 63 Abbotsford road, \Vinnetka, has been sold to Frederick W. Smith of Gerald R. Childs and company, 39 S. La Salle street. The design for this house was selectd from de·,;igns submitted by architects all over the country. H. 0. Surman oi Detroit was the architeot and Granger & Bollenbacher were the supervising architects. This house, after being built, was allowed to stand for two years as a test of the materials used. Paul C. Clovis of Butler, Lamb, Foster & Pope, was the alttorney for the buyer, while K. M. Fisk of Defrees, Buckingham, Jones & Hoffman represented the seller. A. C.
