Kimbell of 422 Forest avenue, Wilmette, is president of the Kimbell Trust & Savings bank, 3000 Fullerton avenue, Chicago, an institution which is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this week. While now a resident of Wilmette, Mr. Kimbell lived for the greater part of his life in Logan Square, whe!'e his forefathers had built an interesting background. His grandfather, Martin Nelson Kimbell, was a pioneer of Chicago, coming from New York via covered wagon in 1836. He was an outstanding character in his c ommunity and reared a large family of eig ht children who made their homes in Logan Square.
