The grand totals for our villages were $8,725,367., which is an increase ?f more than a n1illion and a quarter dollars over 1927. Of n?te ts the fact that the building of residences accounted for co~stderably . more than half of this vast expenditure. This is · to be a two and one-half stor~' residence, with a three ca r garage, and costing $80,000. C. A. Hemphill took out a permit for a new residence for H. 0. Barnes. at 549 Earlston road.
