The seven Kenilworth boys took second in inspection and first in the other events. Those ,who represented ] oseph Sears school were : George Man love, Tom Sinding, Tom Smith, Jack Stebbins, Ben Matthews, Jack Sinding and James McArthur. Gives Recitals Plan Mock Election at Sears School on Nov. 6 Not to be outdone by their brothers and sisters of high school age, the pupils of the Joseph Sears school in Kenilworth will hold a mock presidential election November 6, the date of the regular national election. Pupils of the sixth, seventh and eighth grades will be eligible to vote. The mock election is being sponsored by the social ' science department under the direction of Miss Edith M. Stryker. Ninety-nine per cent of the pupils eligible to vote regist~red for the mock ~ lection on the registration day, October 5. Junior Hikers Organize for Season's Activities A big organization meeting for Junior Hikers in Kenilworth will be held after school tonight at the Joseph Sears school. Any boy in the village from 8 to 12 years of age may be a member of the Junior Hiker s, an organization formed in Kenilworth seven years ago. An attendance o f about seventy-five is expected, according to Robert W. Townley, director of athletics at the school. The chi ef purpose of today's meeting will be th e election of officers and the plannin g of the year's program which will include regular gymnasium classes as soon as the new memorial gymnasium is finished.
