It is surprising to see how steadily the Kenilworth League of Women Voters is growing both in number of memberships and in enthusiastic :mp port by the women of this community. It is no longer the proper thing to say that one i~ not interested in politics or in such a constructive organi zation as is the League of Women Voters and the Bulletin which is issued by the State and National league i~ as eagerly read as most of the fiction magazines. On Tuesday of this week the Kenil worth league held the first meeting for this season with Mrs. Quincy Wright as the speaker of the day. Mrs. Wright is of unusual attractivenes . and charm of manner and she pre - . sented her subject, "Some of the Cam paign Issues," with great clearness of style, making her Jioints clear and definite for her listeners. She told of the qualifications nercessary for the offices to be filled both in the State of Illinois and in the United States and drew the differences between those offices which requir.ed administrative qualities and those re quiring technical qualities. She was fair and unbiased in prt: senting the campaign issues in the present presidential election and truly rep-resented the spirit of the League of \Vomen Voters, which is non-partisan. The meeting was well attended. At the close of the talk a buffet luncheon was served bv Mrs. Thomas \~' hit<:-. chairman of tlie social committee.
