Banker Has Narrow Escape in Motor Crash Saturday E. B. Knudtson, of 1141 Chestnut avenue, president of the First National bank, narrowly escaped serious injury Saturday about 5:20 p. m. when his car collided with another driven by E. w. Dakin, of 2207 Ridge avenue, Evanston, at the intersection on Lake avenue and Fifteenth street. Mr. Knudtson was driving east on Lake avenue. His car overturned when struck by Dakin's car going south on Fifteenth street. Minor ·injuries to Mr. Knudtson and damage to both cars resulted.
