" Th e afternoon was largelv taken up by a series of thirteen taiks demonstrating methods and practices of the real estate business. These talks were given by members of boards in towns contiguous to Chicago and were .under the direction of Mrs. W. H. Wnght, president of the Suburban Real Estate Board council. In the evening the president's reception and the annual ball \vere held in the chamber of ·c ommerce ballroom. Today's program consisted of a talk on "Know Your Illinois," by Jay W. Miller. instructor in real estate course~, Oak Park. In the afternoon there ts an address by State Senator John Dailey on "Revenue System of Illinois," and bv Henry G. Zanc'er, president of the National Association of · Real Estate Boards, on the national organization. The annual banquet is being held tonight. Final Sessions Today Tomorrow morning's session will he featured by an appraisal contest, the awarding of trophies for the various other competitions and the reports of committees. The session wilt adjourn at 1 p. m., following the election of officers. The sanitary district's mammoth north side sewage treatment plant at Oakton street and McCormick boulevard has been opened.
