Cook, 211 Broadway, Wil_ m ette, who was formerly a member of the organization. It was strictly a social gathering; all brought refreshments and spent the afternoon and evening in pic~ic festivity. In Its first games in the North Shore G rammar School Football league last · Thursday the Joseph Sears school of Kenilworth divided honors with the Haven Intermediate school of Evanston ~n two games at Roycemoor field. Kemlworth won the game in the 85pound class by a 6 to 0 score but lost to Haven in the 100-pound 'class 19 ' to 7. The program of the afternoon consisted of a paper by Mrs. Charles Ware on "The Gardens and Flowers of South America." This was a most interesting subject and Mrs. Ware gave her listeners a clear, vivid picture of the profusion of bloom in this land of Argentina. The little side glimpses of private gardens which it was her good fortune to get, made everyone wish to take this South Mr. and Mrs. Leon Allen, 423 Cum~ nor road, Kenilworth have rented their home for the winter to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Shattuck, formerly of Kenilworth and now of Orrington hotel, Evanston.
