In addition, if. there is sufficient demand, a hockey team will be organized for the fall season. An effort is also being made to arrange for swimming classes for women at a nearby tank. If this materializes it will be arranged for Wednesday evenings. All activities for women are free and open to every woman resident of \Vilmette or employed in Wilmette. The enlarged program is seen as a preparatory step to a regular women's department in connection with the playground and recreation board with a full time woman director under the · supervision of the director of recrea· tion.
