Vattman Park Wins Playground Sand Modeling Contest Vattman Park won the sand modeling contest for children of Wilmette playgrounds held last Thursday at Wilmette Beach. \Valter Haas, 14year-old boy of Vattman, won first place in the senior division with a caricature of "A Man in a Hurry." Virginia Green, also of Vattman, won second place in that division by an excellent model of a bird perched on a limb. First place in the Junior Division went to Virginia Marsh whose model was a rabbit. Second place went to James O'Neil of the Beach playground who made a life-sized turtle, and Elsa Jean Edge of the Beach won third place by modeling a picture of a bird in a tree. Fourth place in the Junior group was won by Dick Nilles of the Vattman playground, who had modeled . a steamshi.J.?, and fifth place was awarded to Walter von Reinsperg of Laurel, for his model of a violin.
