Burnham, executive vice president of the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy railroad, died Friday, ] une 22, at his home, 536 Roslyn road, Kenilworth. An attack of heart disease. followed by pneumonia, caused . his death. Mr. Burnham has had an active railroad career. He started with the Great Northern in 1895, entered the setvice of the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy in 1902 and eight years later was made traffic 'manager of the latter railroad. He is a native of England and was fortv-seven years of age at the time of his death. Members of his family who survive him are: his widow, Mrs. :Mary Gillis Burnham; and three sons, David and Philip, Princeton university students, who were here for the funeral. and Tames. who arrived Wednesday from England, \\·here he is attending Oxford universitv. Funer~l services were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock in St. Francis Xavier clmrch, \\'ilmctte. Burial was in All Saints' cemetery. Relatives from out of town who attended the funeral included the following: two brothers, James L. Burnham of Seattle , Wash., and Percy H . Burnham. of St. Paul, Minn.; and t\ro sisters, Mrs. Arthur Barnes and ~Irs . Charles Couling, also of St. Paul. Another sister, Miss Irene Burnham, of St. Paul, ,,·as unable to attend the servtces. Services at St. Joseph's Funeral services were held Saturday morning, June 23, for Mrs. Cecelia \Vagner, widow of the late Peter \\.agner, at the residence, 1700 Washmgton street, \Vilmette, and at St. Joseph's church. Burial was at St. Boniface cemetery. ~1rs. ~' agner, who was sixty-two years of age, had died the previous I \iV ednesday after a lingering illness of · more than a year. She is survived hy tvvo sisters, ~f rs. Mary Merkel and ~{rs. Anna Miller, of \Vilmette; a hrother. Frank Felke. of Plymouth, Ind.; a son, Peter ]. Vlagner, of Wilmette, and nine grandchildren, Catherine, Gertrude. Peter, John. Cecelia, \Villiam, Victor, Frances, and Leon. Mrs. \Vagner's brother came from Plymouth, Ind., for the funeral. Bullard Taken by Death Saturday Mrs. Leonora L. Bullard, 21 years old, died at the Evanston hospital Saturday, June 23. Mrs. Bullard was the wife of Thomas E. Bullard, 1452 Wilmette avenue, Wilmette, and the mother of two children, Thomas E., Jr., and Laurella. Mrs. Bullard is also survived by four sisters and five brothers, ·an of whom live on the north shore. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kieser, live at Marengo, · Ill. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Joseph's church, Wilmette, and burial was at Techny, Ill. Mr. and !\·frs. Charles J. Newburgh of 832 Greenwood avenue, and Mr. and Mrs .. Clarence Edj_nger and daughter, Man land, of Wilmette are going to Wautoma this week-end.
