Kehoe duties because of ill health. ] oseph W. Kehoe resigned his position as the company's secretary and assistant treasurer and came to Evanston ::ts district manager on June 15. During the balance of thi,; year Mr. Reesman will devote such portion of his time as his health permits · to the task of familiarizing Mr. Kehoe with the Evanston territory and the operation of the district. Veteran in Utility Service Practicallv all of Mr. Ree sman' s life has been devoted to the utility se rvice. In November, 1900, he became superintendent for the Highl~nd Park Electric Light company at Highland Park. In 1902, the North Shore Electric company took over the Highland Park . Electric Light company, Mr. Reesman remaining in charge at Highland Park. but being tran sferred later to \Vaukegan wh<.:rc he lived for fiye· years. Some time later he wa$ placed in charge of a company division including \Vaukegan, Highland Park. and Evat1ston~ at which time he moved back to Highland Park. In 1911, the North Shore Electric company became a part of the Public Service Company of Northern Illinois. and service was extended to many additional communities, the company's territorial boundarie,; being considerably enlarged. Mr. Reesman was placed in charge of a territory including Evanston, Des Plaines, ·Park Ridge, \Vilmette, Kenilworth, Highland Park and other neighboring communities. During the past seven years Mr. Reesman and his . family have made their home at 2129 Central avenue, Evanston. He has been exceedingly active in local affairs having served as director and one term as pre,;ident of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, and has been a director of the Rotary club for several years, being active also in Rotary committee work. Kehoe Well Known Mr. Keh~e, the incoming district manager, also is well known along the north shore, having been a resident of Evanston since his marriage last August. Before that he lived in Waukeg-an, having entered the employ of the North Shore Electric company in 1909. In 1923, after several years in various important capacities with the Public Service company, Mr. Kehoe was made assistant secretary and assistant treasurer and in August, 1926, was elected secretary, also retainin~ the title of asststant treasurer.
