Drewes, 1627 Washington avenue, janitor at the Howard school, was going north on .Ridge avenue. Attempting to turn into Schiller avenue, the ltlachine turned directly in the path of the motorcycle which struck it head-on. The car was damaged to the extent of a · broken spring and a punctured tire. The second annual Roller Skating tournament of the Wilmette Playground and Recreation board will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at Third street and Laurel avenue. The meet had previously been announced for today but because of the fact the majority of contestants are in school, the meet was set for torporrow, Daniel M. Davis, director of recreation announces. There will be four classes of competitors. Children under 8 years of age will be placed in Class A ; children under 10 years of age will compete in Class B : children under 12 years of age in Class C; and children under 14 years of age will compete in Class C. Besides the usual races, 50 and 100 yard dashes, there will be novelty races in each division. Class A will have a one-legged race where the contestants skate with one skate on and one skate off, and Class B and C will have the one-legged race and a double race, where two contestants skate together. Boys and girls under 14 years of age will have a three-legged race in addition to the double race in Class B and C.
