Marc Fowler, chairman of the federation's wellequipped home committee. The exposition will be held at the Stevens hotel in conjunction with the federation's thirty-third annual convention and will be under the direction of Mrs. Clarence G. Goodwin. Exhibits of the Home Bureau of the University of Illinois, and of the D~ partment of Home Economics of the University of Chicago are already being arranged. Booths showing laborsaving devices and home comforts ; h e a t i n g, lighting, ventilating and plumbing equipment : decorations and furnishings ; building and garden plans, and everything that goes to make up the complete home, will be included. The following candidates wilt speak : Secretary of State Louis L. Emmerson of Mount Vernon, for governor ; Senator Otis F. Glenn of Murphysboro, for United States senator; Attorney-general Oscar E. Carlstrom of Aledo, for attorney-general. and William J. Stratton of Ingleside, for secretary of state. Judge Charles Hadley of Wheaton, who withdrew as a candidate for attorney-general, will speak for the entire ticket. Mrs. Schaedler, founder and past president of the Independent GermanAmerican Woman's club, has played many important roles in activities in Chi~ago and Cook county, as a leader and speaker. Entries for the Sixteenth Annual Northwe'stern track and swimming meet to be held in Evanston March 23 and 24 continue to arrive daily. Among the high schools which have already entered men are Cleveland Heights high school of Cleveland; Urbana High school of Urbana, Ill.; East High, Aurora, Ill.; Muscatine, Ia.; Hinsdale, Ill. ; Libertyville. and Sadorus, Ill.
