New Trier High. achool swimmers concluded the 1928 seaion by splitting a twin bill with Morton High school at Cicero last Friday afternoon. The seniors found themselves on the weak a '38 to 21 score while the end of · juniors. took home a 'Zl to 21 tally. The Ciceronians copped the opening events when Sredl beat out Captain Bennett for first place in .the 40 yard swim. The 100 yard event also went to the boys out on Austin boulevard. First and second honors in the 100 yard breaststroke were captured by Coach Jackson's swimmers, but the 220 yard event was dropped into the Morton pocket. Coach Jackson's ponies saved their school from double defeat when in one of the closest races ever run off in the Morton pond, they copped the event from the home quartet by about four feet.
