Stackhouse, chairman, will meet today at the home of Mrs. Edward H. Pearson for luncheon at 12 :30. Mrs. F. G. LaBonte will be assisting hostess. The Girl Scouts will meet at the church at 'l o'clock under the leadership of Kiss Elizabeth N. Brown. Membership In this troop is open to girls of high school age. On Saturday the North Shore Council of Boy Scouts will have a Junior Leaders' conference In this church from 9 :30 until 1 o'clock. A light lunch will be served at noon and all the junior officers of the Scout troops on the north shore will attend. At 9 :30 on Sunday morning the various departments of the Church school convene. Leland H. Danforth will give the second of his talks to the Senior denartment at 9 :30 on "'Why I Atn an Episcopalian." At the morning worship service Annie May Hayes Bivona will play a special program of Bach numbers. These are announced in another column of the WJLII E"M'E LIFE. The service will begin at t en minutes before eleven. Dr. Hubert C. Herring, Jr., Social Service secretary of the Congregational churches in America, will be the guest preacher. He Is one of the outstanding preachers of the denomination. The Department of Religious Education of thi~ church begins this Sunday, a Forum in Pilgrim hall at 12:15. They bave secured the senices of Prof. Frank 0. Beck, Ph. D., Northwestern university, to lead the Forum. Any resident of Wilmette Is invited to attend this discussion group.
