F ~ Suppose There Were No Churches In Your Community Suppose there was no organized religious influence or work; suppose there was nothing wrought by man to remind you of God, how long would you want to live there? Would life and property be as secure as they are now? Would it be an atmosphere tn which you would care to bring up your children? We will tell you what woul~ happen if all the churches in your community were to close their doors and go out of business:Some real estate man would be offering a site on which to build a church with open doors, and some merchant would be circulating a subscription list to pay for butlding it. Your Chamber of Commerce would be hunting a preacher. A lot of folks who never enter the churches would suddenly realize that the bottom had gone out of the material values upon ~hich they put so much store because the dealers in spiritual values had quit on the job. r From an editorial in the Chicago Et'ening Pos.t , May j ) Indoor Ball lnd11 ,,r hall: St. ]t:'cph H, 1-l-~tolp K\· . 13: Stolp 7:\, 9- Stolp 7C , 1: Cen:·:tl .:-:\. 19- lJo\\'ard SB. 5: Howard f ,]~ \\<·11 nn·r l'l'ntraJ 0.'\. ]l\· iorfcit: l! t )\\'ard 5:\, 30--Stolp 5B,. 10; St. Jo'l.:plJ i. 20-S tolp 7B, 5; Central 6B \mtt nn: r lio\\'ard (j_~ by foril·it.
