Original plans called for the opening on May 28, but it was necessary to postpone it until the June date. The new clubhou se is of the Spanish style with white walls and red tile roo f. J. W. Morehouse was the architect, and his creation gives the North Shore a new sho:w place. · The interior of the club is of the Spanish period with Italian influence mak ipg it most attractive. One of the features is spacious lounge which is ar ranged in Italian Villa style. The course which is one of the most interesting in the Western District is in good condition. A sprinkler system ha s been in stalled for watering th e fairways during dry weather. OBERLIN CLUB OFFICERS The annual meeting of the North Shore Oberlin Woman's club was held Friday, May 13, at the home of Mrs. Karl A. Roth, 320 North Green Bay road, Highland Park. The following officers were elected: Mrs. George M. Clark, president; Mis. Arthur ]. Boynton, vice president ; Miss Ethel M. Cain, secretary, and Mrs. Frank H . T. Potter, treasurer. Mr. and Mrs. H. ]. Richter of 707 Greenwood avenue are entertaining Mrs. W. W ... Richards, who is on her way from California to New York City. Mr~. Richards is expecting to sail for Europe from New York June 20.
